Tim Jennings ruled out for Sunday’s game against Vikings

The Chicago Bears will be without Brian Urlacher and Tim Jennings in Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. The latest news is that Jennings has been officially ruled out. Kelvin Hayden will replace Jennings at cornerback.

Chicago expects Jennings to be able to return before the season comes to an end. He injured his shoulder in overtime in against Seattle on Dec. 2 while attempting to tackle Michael Robinson.

While Hayden may not be a substantial drop off from Jennings, the Bears will miss a corner who had 8 interceptions on the season.

As for Urlacher there is hope he will be able to play before the season ends. Urlacher suffered a hamstring injury in overtime against Seattle as well.

At 8-4 the Bears are tied with Green Bay atop the NFC North.
