Buffalo Bills versus Indianapolis Colts points spread, line and preview

The Buffalo Bills will play the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. The game will take place at 1 p.m. EST on CBS. While the Colts remain in contention for a playoff spot the Bills have failed to meet early season expectations.

So what is the line for the Bills and Colts game? The Colts are a 3.5 point favorite this week. The total points or over/under for the game is set at 51. That number could easily be reached in a dome and by two offenses who have shown a willingness to air it out.

While the Colts (6-4) were blown out last week against New England they still are in control of their playoff hopes. Andrew Luck continues to get better and his three interceptions last week were as much a product of trying to keep up with the Patriots as they were the fault of Luck.

On Buffalo will hope they can keep the Colts below the 29.9 points they typically allow per game. The Colts will air it out, as they have all season. Buffalo is a middle of the pack team against the pass.

Buffalo is averaging 23 points per game while Indianapolis is averaging 21 a game.

This game has all the makings for a headache. Neither team is predictable. The Colts continue to grow on offense but have been shaky on the defensive side of the ball of late. The Bills have been inconsistent all season playing close at times while getting blown out at others.
