Jaguars place Blaine Gabbert on injuried reserve

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert’s season is over. The team placed the second year player on injured reserve following a forearm and shoulder injury that occurred in a game against Houston on Nov. 19.

Chad Henne, who took over following the injury, will quarterback the team for the rest of the season. Henne finished the game with 354 yards passing to go with four touchdown passes. Even had Gabbert proved to be healthy enough to return this season its likely the Jaguars would have stuck with Henne.

Jacksonville is 1-9 on the season and are expected to be ineterested in drafting a quarterback in April’s draft.
