The San Diego Chargers have moved Jackie Battle ahead of Ryan Mathews on the teams depth chart. The reason according to the Chargers is because Battle started last week.
Battle, 29, ran for 39 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries against Kansas City. He also caught 4 passes for 42 yards and a touchdown.
Mathews has seen his playing time take a hit due to his penchant of fumbling. Mathews has 11 career fumbles, including one this season.
Last season Mathews ran for 1091 yards in 14 games, he committed 5 fumbles
