On Monday night the final game from the first week of college football will take place as the Miami Hurricanes and Louisville Cardinals face off against one another.
This is the return game for Bobby Petrino at Louisville but Miami will have plans of spoiling it much the same way the Cardinals dropped the Hurricanes at the end of last season. These two teams met last year in the Russell Athletic Bowl a game in which Louisville soundly defeated Miami by a 36-9 score.
Coverage of Monday night’s game between Miami and Louisville will air on ESPN and WatchESPN beginning at 8:00 pm ET at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium in Louisville, KY.
The Odds: The Louisville Cardinals are a 3.5 point favorite against the Miami Hurricanes. The over/under for this contest is 53.5 total points.
Louisville is different this year with quarterback Teddy Bridgewater gone and head coach Charlie Strong leaving for Texas. Will this game have the same result as last years or does Miami pull off the win this time?
