Chris Peterson will be named the head coach of the Washington Huskies reports ESPN.

Petersen will be one of the highest paid coaches in the Pac-12. A week ago Peterson removed himself from consideration for the position of head coach at USC which ironically chose Steve Sarkisan who was the head coach at Washington at that time.

The head coach at Boise State, Petersen met with Washington on Thursday and feels that now is the time to leave.\

Petersen won five conference titles and two BCS games at Boise State, where he won 89 percent of games (92-12) over eight years.
