So long Alabama.
On Saturday the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide fell to the No. 4 Auburn Tigers after missing a series of field goals. It’s a kick in the gut for the Crimson Tide who suffered four missed field goals on the including one at the end of regulation which happened to be their undoing.
Adam Griffith’s 57 yard attempt was wide right and was then run back by Chris Davis.
All this was made possible thanks to a 39 yard touchdown from Nick Marshall to Samie Coates to tie the game with less than a minute left in the game to tie the game at 28-28.
How far will Auburn move up? My guess is a lot more than Ohio State who had to hang on and beat unranked Michigan 42-41.
