USC head coach Lane Kiffin has stated that Cody Kessler will start at quarterback on Saturday.
The Trojans are coming off a loss to unranked Washington State in which Kessler and backup Max Wittek struggled to generate any offense.
Kiffin is trying to reshirt freshman Max Browne but he may not stick around long enough to see him start if USC does not start winning.
This season Kessler is 18-for-32 for 136 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions.
