Aaron Murray was 1-9 against teams ranked 15th or higher entering Saturday. He can put one more in the win column.
Murray shined in Georgia’s win over South Carolina throwing for 309 yards and four touchdowns thanks largely to the Bulldogs offensive line giving him time to throw early in the game.
The win evens Georgia’s record at 1-1 and keeps them alive for a National Championship after narrowly losing to Clemson last week.
Georgia is off next week and then play North Texas at home on Sept. 21 before hosting LSU a week later.
