Johnny Manziel has apologized to the Texas A&M coaching staff after his departure this past weekend from the Manning Passing Academy.
Manziel, 20, left the camp citing illness and dehydration although reports circulated around the Internet that the quarterback was sent home by Archie Manning for “partying”.
Things will not get easier for Manziel as he is scheduled to speak at SEC media day on Wednesday. With the expected media turnout to be 1200 there figures to be no shortage of off-the-wall questions for the Texas A&M signal caller.
Manziel, a sophomore, has made stayed in the headlines since the end of the college football season. Between social media comments, travel plans and celebrity appearances there has been no stopping “Johnny Football.”
