Ole Miss has suspended Marshall Henderson indefinitely.
The school announced the suspension Wednesday, for a violation of team rules.
“Since the season ended, we have talked a lot about Marshall taking a greater leadership role with our team. With that comes greater responsibility, and he must do a better job of living up to the high standard we expect from him and he desires from himself,” Ole Miss head coach Andy Kennedy said in a statement.
Multiple failed drug tests led to the suspension according to CBSSports.
Henderson averaged 20.1 points per game last season while leading Ole Miss to a SEC Tournament title. He was polarizing all along the way and was reprimanded after throwing up a pair of middle fingers after Ole Miss’ loss to La Salle last season.
