The agent of South Carolina’s Marcus Lattimore says the running backs LCL and PCL are “tight as a drum.” He fully expects Lattimore to be ready to go for the start of the NFL season as his ACL rehap is also coming along well.

Lattimore suffered his injuries on October 27.

“Just letting teams see me walk around,” Lattimore told Alex Marvez of FoxSports.com and Jim Miller on SiriusXM NFL Radio. “I feel that’s big — and know I’m going to be fine and ready by Week 1.”

Dr. James Andrews has said Lattimore’s recovery is “nothing short of a miracle.”

Lattimore would have been one of the top running backs available in the draft had he not suffered the aforementioned injuries. Still Lattimore belives he can help a team this year.

“Everything happens for a reason. This reason was it made me mentally tougher,” Lattimore said. “It put things in perspective where I’ll never take anything — walking, running — for granted again.”
