The Minnesota Timberwolves and Cleveland Cavaliers have come to agreement on a trade that will send Kevin Love to Cleveland, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.
According to the report, the deal cannot be announced until August 23 but Love has reportedly agreed to a 5-year, $120 million contract extension with Cleveland. The Cavaliers will now form their own ‘Big 3″ pairing Love with Lebron James and Kyrie Irving.
The Timberwolves will receive Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett, and a protected 2015 draft pick.
Love is a three-time NBA All Star and has averaged 19.2 points and 12.2 rebounds in his six seasons with the Timberwolves. His best season coming in 2011-12 when he averaged 26 points and 13.3 rebounds.
