Ty Lawson is questionable for Tuesday’s preseason game after suffering a back injury he called a “stinger” in Monday’s game against the Spurs according to the Denver Post.
Lawson received treatment on Monday evening.
“I’ve never hurt my back before,” Lawson said. “If it tightens up, I probably won’t play.”
Lawson finished Monday’s game with 10 points, four rebounds, eight assists and two steals so as you can see it didn’t impact him in the box.
Lawson said he hurt the back after taking a hard screen during the game. Brian Shaw didn’t express concern in his postgame comments which is a good sign.
“Anything you want to accomplish and you want to achieve, it’s not going to be easy.” Shaw said.
