Mariano Rivera recorded his 30th save of the season on Friday night as the New York Yankees defeated the Minnesota Twins.
Rivera appeared in the ninth inning to close out a 2-0 win for the Yankees.
Since returning from knee surgery that cost him nearly all of 2012 the 43-year-old closer has been as dominant as ever. Rivera owns a 1.83 ERA in 38 games this season and has 30 saves in 32 attempts.
