Brad Boxberger may have just staked the claim to the greatest Major League Baseball Players Weekend Jersey in the history of ever. Move over Kyle “Corey’s Brother” Seager from 2017!
Rather than go with a name, phrase or simply his name name…. Boxberger went the emjoi route. And as far as I can tell, Boxberger will become the first MLB player to ever appear in a game with an emjoi on his jersey or as his last name.
Not only is Boxberger wearing emjoi’s. They actually are of a box and a berger which mean they actually combine to make his name.
Don’t get me wrong, there were some great names last year and there are some more this year but Boxberger took this to a whole new level.
