The Twins and left hander Tommy Milone have avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year deal worth $4.5 million.
Milone, 28, finished last season with a 9-5 record, 3.92 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and a 91/36 K/BB ratio over 128 1/3 innings of work. He figures to be a favorite for a spot at the backend of the Twins rotation in 2016.
