Mike Minor will undergo surgery on his left shoulder ending his 2015 season.

Minor, 27, has not pitched this season and is now two years removed from his once promising 2013 season that saw him go 13-9 with a 3.21 ERA and 1.09 WHIP across 205 innings.

Since then Minor has dealt with soreness, fatigue and an injury that will now be fixed with shoulder surgery. The former top-10 pick’s career with the Braves may now be coming to an end as the team may chose to non-tender him after paying him $5.6 million to not play this season.

During his five year major league run with the Braves, Minor owns a 38-36 record and a 4.10 ERA.
