The Baltimore Orioles have placed right handed pitcher Kevin Gausman on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder tendinitis.
The shoulder of Gausman, 24, showed no signs of structural issues but trying to peg how long he will be out of action for will be a tough task. His DL stint is retroactive to May 7.
T.J. McFarland has been recalled to the active roster to take the spot of Gausman.
In eight games this season Gausman had pitched 12 innings of relief posting a 4.50 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP.
