LaTroy Hawkins will turn 42 later this month and the relief pitcher let it be known during an interview on MLB Network that the 2015 season would be his last.
Hawkins will enter the 2015 season as the closer of the Rockies after posting a 3.31 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP for the team last season.

After failing to be a starting pitcher for the first five seasons of his big league career a shift to the bullpen paid off for Hawkins. He currently sits at 1,000 appearances and downs a career 4.35 ERA and a 1.41 ERA to go with a 72-93 record and 124 saves.
