The Philadelphia Phillies have re-signed outfielder Grady Sizemore to a one-year deal worth $2 million.
Sizemore, 32, hit just .233/.299/.354 with five home runs and 27 RBI last season while splitting time between the Boston Red Sox and Phillies.
The Phillies figure to use Sizemore as a part-time player next season. Despite the best efforts of Sizemore and interest in signing teams, he has not been a serviceable major leaguer since 2009.
