John Hart will not become the full-time general manager of the Atlanta Braves reports Yahoo! Sports’ Jeff Passan.
Hart took over as the Braves interim GM last month when the team fired Frank Wren. The Braves apparently wanted Hart to take over and set up John Coppolella to eventually take over the role.
That will not happen as the 66-year-old is not interested in the Braves GM job. Hart previously had served as the GM of the Cleveland Indians and Texas Rangers.
Sources: John Hart has turned down the Braves' offer to be GM. For now, Atlanta focused on AGM John Coppolella and Royals GM Dayton Moore.

The Braves have been rumored to be hiring Coppolella or attempting to lure Dayton Moore away from Kansas City. Another option for the Braves could be former Colorado GM Dan O’Dowd.
