With still give games remaining on his suspension for amphetamines it is doubtful that Chris Davis is added to the roster of the Baltimore Orioles ahead of the American League Championship Series.
The bigger reason Davis would not be on the roster is because the Orioles swept the Detroit Tigers in the American League Divisional Series. Davis was only a realistic roster addition that series gone the distance. As it stands he still has give games left on his suspension and would not be an option in the ALCS until games six and seven.
Davis was not the same player he was a season ago hitting .196/.300/.404 bit he did manage 26 home runs in 127 games.
