Veteran right hander Brad Penny will return to the rotation of the Miami Marlins on Tuesday.
Penny, 36, was given the boot as the Marlins opted to keep Brad Hand around earlier this month. Now he gets another chance against the New York Mets.
Penny has a 5.40 ERA and 1.80 WHIP over 13 1/3 innings this season which includes two starts and two appearances out of the bullpen.
