With the July 31 trade deadline approaching one player almost certain to be moved is New York Mets pitcher Bartolo Colon. Another pitcher who could be traded in Philadelphia Phillies right hander A.J. Burnett.

Jon Morosi of FOX Sports reports that the Toronto Blue Jays, St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates and Atlanta Braves all had scouts present during the matchup between Colon and Burnett on Monday.

Colon went 7 2/3 innings allowing one run while Burnett allowed seven runs in five innings.

It would not be a surprise to see both pitchers traded prior to Thursday’s deadline.
