Addison Reed could be available as the MLB trade deadline approaches confirms ESPN writer Jayson Stark.

The Diamondbacks could look to trade Reed but apparently are not as keen on trading Brad Ziegler. Should Reed be moved, Ziegler could move firmly into the closers role.

Others who could be traded on the Diamondbacks roster include Aaron Hill, Oliver Perez, Martin Prado and Josh Collmenter.

Entering Monday the 25-year-old Reed has a 3.89 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 24 saves on the season. He has five blown saves on the season but has recorded four saves since his last blown save.
