Cincinnati Reds pitcher Homer Bailey left his Thursday start against the Chicago Cubs early due to pain in his right knee.
Bailey left with an issue in his right patellar tendon after giving up three runs in five innings of work.
Though his first 117 2/3 innings of work this season Bailey owns a 4.21 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP to go with a 105/38 K/BB ratio.
Signed though 2019, there is little reason for the Reds to worry about their 28-year-old starter.
