How much does a win cost? About $1. Just ask the Oakland Athletics who acquired pitcher Brad Mills from the Milwaukee Brewers for just $1.

After a less than desirable outing in his debut on Saturday, Mills rebounded Wednesday night allowing three runs in 6 1/3 innings of work in what proved to be a 8-5 win over the New York Mets. He allowed nine hits but struck out four in the contest.

On the season Mills is now 1-0 with a 4.35 ERA and a 1.65 WHIP. His next start should come Tuesday at Detroit.
