The Oakland Athletics have acquired left handed pitcher Brad Mills from the Milwaukee Brewers for cash considerations.
Mills, 29, has been pitching well at Triple-A making 12 starts and two relief appearances while posting a 1.56 ERA to go with 77/18 K/BB ratio in 75 innings.

Ken Rosenthal reports that that the Brewers will receive $1 million for Mills. The Athletics are expected to place Mills into their rotation.
Mills has appeared in 15 big league games between 2009-2012 posting a 7.76 ERA and a 1.71 WHIP.
