The Arizona Diamondbacks have claimed catcher Jordan Pacheco off of waivers from the Colorado Rockies.
In Arizona, Pacheco figures to serve as a backup to Miguel Montero though he also has seen time across the infield and in left field.

In 270 big league games across four seasons Pacheco is a career .281/.317/.379 hitter with eight home runs and 98 RBI.
The Chicago White Sox have acquired utility player Matt Tuiasosopo from the Toronto Blue Jays for cash considerations.
Tuiasospop was hitting .206 in 56 minor league games for the Blue Jays Triple-A affilaite. With the White Sox he will be ticketed for Charlotte.
A third-round pick in 2004, Tuiasosopo has appeared in 152 major league games. The bulk of his big league experience came last season as a member of the Detroit Tigers when he hit .244/.351/.415 with seven home runs and 30 RBI in 81 games.
