The hamstring of Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Colby Rasmus is getting better to the point that he could being appearing in minor league rehab games next week.
Rasmus, 27, has been out since the middle of May when he suffered a strained right hamstring. Ideally he would return after just a few minor league games.

Before going down, Rasmus had a .222/.266/.489 line with nine homers and 19 RBI in 37 games.
Making $7 million this season Rasmus will be a free agent at the end of the season.
