Rays to be without Wil Myers for two months

The Tampa Bay Rays continue to get bad news. Last year’s AL Rookie of the Year, Wil Myers will miss the next two months due to a small stress fracture in his right wrist.

Myers, 23, will wear a cast for the next 5-6 weeks before he can begin the rehabilitation process. From there he will need additional action before he can return to the outfield at the big league level.

Myers was batting .227/.313/.354 with five home runs and 25 RBI in 53 games this season.
