Relief pitcher Todd Coffey has signed a minor league deal with the Seattle Mariners according to Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune.
Coffey, 33, did not play last season after undergoing Tommy John surgery. He must have impressed the Mariners enough last week during his throwing session to garner a deal.

There is a good chance that the right handed Coffey will be in the Mariners bullpen before long.
Coffey has appeared in 461 big league games and owns a lifetime 4.10 ERA and a 1.42 WHIP.
