On Monday Jaime Garcia will make his latest rehab start with Double-A Springfield on Monday.
Garcia left his start on Sunday after being hit in his left throwing elbow by a pitch. Things are feeling better for the 27-year-old as he is expected to reach 80 pitches in Monday’s start.
It could be just a start or two before Garcia returns to the majors for the Cardinals.
Manager Mike Matheny said Jaime Garcia's next rehab start will be Monday with Double-A Springfield. #stlcards
