The Los Angeles Dodgers have activated relief pitcher Brian Wilson from the disabled list.
Wilson had no troubles during his rehab assignment and will be inserted into a setup role ahead of Kenley Jansen.
In order to make room for Wilson on the active roster the Dodgers sent left hander Paco Rodriguez to Triple-A Albuquerque. The Dodgers sent Rodriguez down despite his 3.18 ERA in 5 2/3 innings of work. It should only be a matter of time before Rodriguez returns to the big leagues.
The Dodgers also welcomed outfielder Carl Crawford back to their starting lineup on Tuesday.
