Washington Nationals third baseman Ryan Zimmerman left Saturday nights game against the Atlanta Braves after jamming his thumb.
Zimmerman was bloodied when he attempted to dive back to second base. After being called out Zimmerman exited to the clubhouse with a team trainer.
Following the game it was revealed that Zimmerman had a fractured right thumb and would be out the next 4-6 weeks.

Danny Espinosa came in to play second base with Anthony Rendon moving over to third.
Zimmerman is hitting .364 with two home runs and six RBI in 11 games this season.
