The Kansas City Royals have signed relief pitcher Kameron Loe to a minor league deal.
Loe, 32, recently opted out of his minor league deal from the San Francisco Giants. He had hoped to find a big league deal but could not find any takers. His new deal with the Royals includes an opt out date of June 15.

If nothing else Loe gives the Royals some bullpen depth to stash a Triple-A. There is a good chance he will be called up prior to his opt out date.
