Kemp was appearing in his third game of the season and connected with two home runs. The first came in the second inning off of Giants starter Matt Cain giving the Dodgers an early lead. In the fourth he hit a two run shot off Cain to extend the lead to 4-0.

Likewise Ramirez had a multi-homer game. His first came in the form of a solo shot in the fourth off Cain and he added a solo shot off reliever David Huff in the eighth.

Dodgers starter Zack Greinke pitched six innings earning his second win of the season. Greinke allowed two runs on six hits while striking out eighth. Prior to the sixth Greinke had kept the Giants off the scoreboard but he allowed solo home runs to Brandon Belt and Hunter Pence in the sixth. He will face Arizona next.
