Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Alex Colome will miss the start of the 2014 season after he tested positive for Boldenone, a performance-enhacing drug.
The 25-year-old Colome made his big league debut last season making three starts and posting a 2.25 ERA and a 1.44 WHIP. Now he will miss the first two months of the 2014 season.

Colome was expected to begin the season at Triple-A Durham.
He becomes the second player suspended this year under the major league drug program. The first was New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, who was banned for the entire season for violations of the drug agreement and labor contract.
