The Atlanta Braves will be without Mike Minor until mid-April.
With Kris Medlen and Brandon Beachy succumbing to injuries Minor, 26, will be expected to replicate his stats from a year ago that saw him post a 3.21 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP across 204 2/3 innings of work.
The left handed Minor underwent a urinary tract procedure on Dec. 31 and then dealt with some shoulder discomfort during the early days of camp.
The Braves also believe that Gavin Floyd will be able to make his debut in early May.
