Los Angeles Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said on Saturday that outfielder Matt Kemp is getting close to returning.
“We’re seeing him take fly balls, getting jumps,” said Mattingly. “He’s swinging the bat good. It won’t be long before he’s in a game.”
It remains to be seen as to whether or not Kemp plays prior to the Dodgers heading to Australia to open the season.
