The Baltimore Orioles and free agent pitcher Johan Santana are close to agreeing to a minor league deal according to MASN’s Roch Kubatko.
Santana was seen Monday at Orioles camp working out the details of his deal.

The 34-year-old Santana topped out at 81 mph during a throwing session last Tuesday. The Orioles will need to be patient and see more before he becomes a piece of their major league roster.
Santana did not pitch last season after his second shoulder capsule surgery.
