Tim Hudson tosses two perfect innings in spring debut

San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Hudson threw a pair of perfect innings in his spring debut.

Hudson, 38, recorded one strike out in his two innings of work.

It’s a good sign for a pitcher who ended the 2013 season on the disabled list with a broken ankle. Hudson is not going to wow anyone with his strike out totals but he should be more than serviceable at the back end of the Giants rotation.

Hudson made 21 starts last season finishing with a 8-7 record, 3.97 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP.
