Cameron Maybin to undergo MRI on injured shoulder

San Diego Padres outfielder Cameron Maybin will undergo an MRI on his injured shoulder on Monday.

Maybin, 26, left Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Reds after making a diving catch in the third inning.

Maybin has dealt with a slue of injuries in his career and has been fairly unproductive when he has been on the field. Last season Maybin appeared in 14 games hitting .157/.232/.235 with five home runs and five RBI.
