Cole Hamels will not be ready to start the season for the Philadelphia Phillies but the left hander is set to begin throwing.
Hamels will throw a bullpen session on Wednesday.
The Phillies believe Hamels will be ready to go in early April.

Hamels pitched 220 innings for the Phillies in 2013 finishing with a 3.60 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP. He had a 202/50 K/BB ratio.
