The comeback attempt of former major league pitcher Mark Mulder is already in jeopardy and Spring Training games have not even kicked off.
Mulder suffered a ruptured left Achilles on Saturday while performing agility drills according to the Los Angeles Times’ Mike DiGiovanna.

The Angels should have the results of an MRI by Sunday. If true, this could seemingly end Mulder’s comeback attempt before it ever got started. Mulder has not pitched in the majors since 2008.
