The Arizona Diamondbacks have landed free agent pitcher Bronson Arroyo on a two-year deal.
Arroyo, 36, will be paid $19 million according to ESPN’s Buster Olney. Things get interesting after that as the Diamondbacks hold an $11 million option for 2016 or can elect to pay a $4.5 million buyout. Basically the Diamondbacks will be determining if Arroyo is worth $6.5 million at his age 39 season.
Arroyo’s deal with Arizona: 9.5m in 2014, 9.5m 2015, 4.5m buyout on an $11m option on 2016

The arrival of Arroyo in Arizona should have little effect on his numbers persay since he pitched at a similiar park in Great American with the Cincinnati Reds the last few seasons and performed well.
Arroyo brings durability and a good middle of the rotation arm to the Diamondbacks.
