The Miami Marlins signed infielder Ty Wigginton to a minor league contract on Friday.
Wigginton, 36, will also be invited to spring training.

Last season with the St. Louis Cardinals Wigginton appeared at the end of the road posting a .158/.23/.193 line with three RBI in 57 at-bats. His inclusion on the roster of the Marlins depends on what he does this spring.
