The Milwaukee Brewers have signed Mark Reynolds to a minor league deal.
Reynolds’ contract with the Brewers hardly guarantees him a roster spot but it would come as a mild surprise if he failed to earn a spot on the 25 man roster at the end of Spring Training.
The Brewers stand to give Reynolds a good number of at-bats at first base against left-handers. He finished the 2013 season with a .220/.306/.393 line with 21 home runs and 67 RBI.
