The Baltimore Orioles have reached a minor league deal with outfielder Tyler Colvin.
Colvin, 28, spent last season with the Colorado Rockies but struggled at the big league level hitting just ,160/.192/.280 with three homeruns and 10 RBI in 27 games.
The Orioles hoping Colvin can show some of the form he had in 2012 when he hit a career best .290/.327/.531 line. Since there is little risk here it’s not a bad signing by the Orioles at all.
